The first public version connects the draft, story bible, 90-day program, and Amazon-ready export in one workspace.
Novelbound 1.0 is the soft-launch release: the point where the product is ready for real books, real deadlines, and the inconvenient middle of a draft. It is not a blank writing box with a progress ring. The manuscript and story bible are the same workspace, so a character, promise, location, beat, or contradiction can always lead back to the scene that made it matter.
The release includes the full 90-day program, manuscript and outline tools, characters, threads, timelines, world building, revision checks, and export for Kindle and paperback preparation. Eleven literary forms get their own vocabulary and structure rather than being squeezed into a novel template.
Onboarding now works one question at a time on phones and desktops. Science Fiction is a first-class genre choice, and every answer becomes part of the actual book record instead of disappearing into a setup survey.
This is a soft launch because the next useful evidence comes from finished books, not a longer feature list. Updates will be recorded here with the version, what changed, and why it was worth changing.
